Amen! The only time I’d accept a phone in class is if you have a young child & need to run out *IF* daycare calls for an emergency (which hopefully is v unlikely in those 50 mins)

two girls at my spin studio record FLASH ON in a pitch black room every single class that they take😭, not even themselves, but the room, instructor, mirror etc

My home studio won’t reimburse for any lost/stolen items and I don’t trust the people in nyc so I take my phone/wallet and put it to the side of the machine… I’ve heard horror stories about theft!

Only time I even have my near me is when I’d sneak into a class while on call-BUT I’d tell the instructor when I walked in that I was on call and if I suddenly dipped out, that was why

So many studios have this policy and it’s wild to see the blatant disregard. Idk why people feel they are so entitled and think these rules don’t apply to them.

solidcore terms & conditions says “Without prior approval from our staff, you are not permitted to film our class during the workout.” so fair point but i think it then depends on each instructor ?
