I got mine out at 21 and recovery was the worst 7 days of my life but now I’m so happy they are gone. I’m 27 and haven’t had strep since!!

I went through a year like this with strep. Didn’t get my tonsils out and while I’ve had it again since it’s just been like once every couple years.

I had my tonsils out as a teenager after constant tonsil infections and strep. I have still gotten strep a couple times, but it’s so much more straightforward getting well without those pesky tonsils.

I had a partial tonsillectomy as an adult where they shaved them down. It got rid of my issues with strep/tonsillitis with half the recovery time than getting them fully removed!
