Unless you grow your own fruits/vegetables, buying produce at most grocery stores is also unethical since agriculture workers often work in harsh conditions and barely get any rights in the workplace

As someone that grew up extremely poor: I was just happy to have food. Being able to choose what food you want to eat is a privilege, we ate what the food pantry provided 90% of the time.
