A tip, you can use an old water radiator to run exhaust through. heats up pretty well and maximizes efficiency.

what temperature would the heater freeze ? most diesel trucks will freeze at -30°c if not plugged in

You may want to find a gas station that has furnace fuel at the pump. It is cheaper than diesel (same fuel) but less taxes.

Take your thermometer go to your car warm it up let the heat be pouring out the vent and hit your thermometer gun on that it’ll be 130
