I couldn’t fathom not giving my parents or in-laws gifts… they help us with our 3 kids so much. We don’t get for aunts/uncles other adults but I feel like grandparents deserve their own.

💯 so annoyed my fam wouldn’t agree to picking 1 name out of a hat and having a set 💲. Adults can buy their own things. We shouldn’t be buying for adults anymore in this economy. My kid comes first

YES!!!!!!!! I do not buy for adults anymore. I can barely buy groceries. I focus on my children only. And I agree I’m exhausted!

My family doesn’t buy gifts for adults. We do a white elephant with an agreed upon spending limit. White elephant over secret Santa takes away the stress of picking something personal

100%. Grandparents get a framed photo of grandchildren. My mom said that’s all she wants. And she appreciates that we print it out bc she doesn’t know how to do all that stuff😂

We only gift our kids and that’s it. Family gets pictures and handmade cards. I did get my two MILs something small this year but usually I don’t.

Unpopular opinion I don’t want a picture of your kid and this is coming from a mom. I give people gifts on Christmas because they are my village and they help me take care of my kid throughout the yr

I think it is important for young kids to learn about giving thins time of year. I grew up having a jingle with my cousins and it only added to my excitement every Christmas.

Two of my kiddos also have December birthdays. This is the first year where I said I’m not buying for anyone but my 3 and nephew. If an adult is getting from us it’s school pictures of the kids framed

I have no kids 9 nieces/nephews 3 siblings and there spouses and we always make Christmas magical for everyone that joins the family. We all get each other stuff we just shop together.

I get a gift for my mom and then my grandparents get a custom calendar each year of all the grand and great grand kids and we make everyone cookies. My priority is my kids at Christmas.

fully agreed. I have a 4yo, 2yo, & a 9 week old. I have to think about, but, & wrap gifts for like 20+ people. shit they probably don't need or really want anyway. Just let me sit it out for a few yrs

We have 5 kids, both work full time, we do all the Christmas things like elf on the shelf, go see Santa, go to universal and I still buy for everyone that’s important to us. Gifts come from your ❤️
