This man right here. There’s so much I could say about Jamey Heath, but if you’ve ever had the honor of meeting him, you already know—he’s bigger than words. Jamey has seen me at my lowest. He’s been there to calm me down and pray over me at 3 AM after a panic attack. He’s picked me up off the floor when I felt broken and beaten and reminded me of my nobility, my worth. If you’ve seen It Ends With Us, what you may not know is that this man is the reason you saw it. He was my right hand, my producing partner, and my anchor. He’s the one who kept me going, who always reminded me of my WHY when the winds got strong and I felt like I wasn’t enough. Every day, Jamey teaches me what it means to be a good man, a good human, and a Bahá’í. He leads with integrity, honesty, and authenticity. He holds more room in his heart for forgiveness than anyone I’ve ever met. And his relentless drive to become a better version of himself inspires everyone around him to do the same. He’s an incredible husband, father and GRANDPA, and he’s taught me how to be a better dad just by watching him. But more than anything, what a I admire about Jamey is that no matter what life throws at him, his default setting is JOY. That joy is infectious, transformative, and a gift to everyone lucky enough to know him. And thanks to him, I’ve been finding more and more of my own joy. Jamey lives by this quote: “Joy gives us wings. In times of joy, our strength is more vital, our intellect keener, and our understanding less clouded. We seem better able to cope with the world and to find our sphere of usefulness.” – ‘Abdu’l-Bahá I wish everyone had a Jamey in their life. I love you, brother. Happy 55th, Grandpa. You’re officially ancient. Eat shit.
