The parking in Philly is crazy they’ll park in the middle of any street any time of day or night any street get out turn the car off and leave it there. 😅

It’s “legal” to park on the sidewalk and in the middle of the street in South Philadelphia because the streets were designed before cars existed. They were meant for horses and carriages so now that cars exist there’s nowhere for people to park so it’s not technically legal, but like the cops aren’t gonna give you a ticket for it because it’s kind of like an understood concept that the roads are not big enough for cars because they were built before cars existed

As a pedestrian I can’t stand the cars that fully park on the sidewalk. If you’re loading something that’s fine but if it’s just chilling all day not cool.
