Look upp the YouTube video ”no cgi is really just invisible cgi”. Yes the practical sets are incredible so is the cgi in the movies. They are both tools in moviemaking and incredible art forms.

It's slightly misleading to say no CGI as visual effects were used for set extensions, as physical sets were only built to a certain size. That's not to say that it isn't impressive, but it's more of a case of "invisible CGI", rather than none
