@presentfatherhood: Nearly everyone in the village is anticipating guests. My elderly neighbors are hoping to see their children or grand kids that have been in cities for a long time, while I hope to possibly host the influx. A possibility of friends or strangers who may say they'll pop in my homestead. While it's a frenzy of activity here with people looking for which chicken will be slaughtered or selling their beans produce to buy sugar for guests, my family and I look forward to just chill here. It will be my first Christmas season in my own boma, and while last year I was here, this time I'm more confident in being at my own space I however wish to instill to my kids that one shouldn't run helter skelter in hosting guests really, but should just have enough to always host anyone that passes by and needs a biting. That, is having a sense of true community. Can't wait for these bananas to ripen in a few days as we ripen our fruits from the farms to share with those who'll stop by to bless us.
