As a mom of 3 with all 3 being extremely different labor/delivery/recoveries, I just tell FTMs to know your options and be open to whatever is best for you/baby at the time.

I got induced and went in wanting uneducated, but acknowledging that that could easily change. Got the epidural at 5cm and it was the best decision I made 😂

I had 3 in medicated n one induced and medicated and imo the medicated induced birth was an horrible experience. The epidural didn’t work yet I was charged for it smh and I had to tough thru the pain
