As a local, this is the first year it has sold out months in advance. If you buy your ticket not on eBay, the price INCLUDES a shuttle bus. It is supposed to be experienced at night.

The lights are what make this place so magical. It's just very surreal at night. It's like trying to see auroras in daylight. You can't see the magic 🪄

It’s a lovely Xmas market in the dark & def don’t go during the day light. Getting there with the shuttle & public transport is easy and it’s just 7.50 € so not super expensive

the Most beautiful Christmas Markers are Always in rural places and Always full. entrance Fees are Common aswell as ITS usually Museums/historic places.

I went early November and the shuttle was included with my ticket. We stayed in a nearby town that was super cute. We found it very beautiful and magical but we did go in the evening.

this doesn’t look any cooler than the christmas market in my town. non-major cities are the best spots to go, there’s barely any tourists, just locals.

I went there 2 weekends ago and it was SO worth the hype. There are companies that do bus trips depending on where you live. That was super easy.

Well , the whole principle of the tickets is that it does not get overcrowded, which makes some of the appeal.For the hike part, as it is in a remote location through the black forrest
