Try buying a ac fan switch for a 70s Pontiac. Ordered 3 switches every time came already glued together with the knob. You can’t get it in the dash with the knob already on.

My man. VW has been doing that for 20 years. Kia was at the start but got much better about 10 years ago. Just about everything is like that. Hell most engine assemblies are 50% + plastic now.

I deal with it every day ..and build old cars .I can build a show car cheaper and able to work on every single piece easy ..why people buy new stuff I can't fathom. I wouldn't buy anything newer then
