also I feel like singed basically did a shimmer blood transfusion on her. so her body makes its own shimmer when she had an adrenaline burst. she was another singed experiment

I think singed knocked out silco because he was experimenting putting it thru her blood instead of the typical ingest of it, that's why she's different from other ppl who used shimmer
