Milk in the USA is skimmed to remove some of the fat. This is not done in Europe so there is more fat in UK Also UK cows are grass fed but grain fed in USA which makes it sweeter in USA

First what % of milk fat in each. USA has skim, 1%, 2%, 3.2%(whole) in the store. if you go to a farm the milk might be 5%+ as the cream is just scooped off but not homogenized usually. 1/2

Uk is ultra pasteurized and sold warm on shelves. Our milk isn’t ultra pasteurized and must be refrigerated.

YES! I was a milk drinker in the UK. USA, nah. Much more bland. AFAIK US milk is more heavily pasteurised at higher temps and lasts much longer.

We drink organic whole milk at home here in WI which I like, but I studied abroad for a year in Lancashire 11 years ago and still remember how good the milk was there 😅 Richer and smoother imo..
