Not if the jar lid has silicone. No air tight seals. She needs to breathe to grow❤️

Yes! Just take the little plastic rubber piece out of the top of the jar if it’s still on there so it’s not airtight !🤍🤍

Leave that as the discard jar. Take about 10g out and put in original container. Feed like usual. Usually 20/10. So for 10g starter 20g flour. 10g water.

I had this happen get some whole wheat flour. I’m using the King Arthur its orange. 2nd day using it mine has more bubbles and doubled

I used this exact jar one time, and fruit flies got into it 😭 I had to toss it. I know it needs to breathe, but also, needs some sort of barrier to keep fruit flies/gnats out

Don’t use tap water it needs to be bottled water and should look like pancake batter or slightly thinner. I did 1 cup of flour 1 cup water but it grew fast. Pretty much just do it how you want but 1/2
