i’m only 18 so this might not help, but i’m still going to say it. my whole teenage years i’ve been looking for love, trying to find it every where and getting attached to anyone just because i wanted to be in love, like my friends, or like the movies or the books, but it all was just a waste of time. i am now in a relationship with the person who was my best friend during all these years (and i never thought i would end up with him). and now that i am in a relationship i realised that there is no point in craving love when you don’t have it, if the world doesn’t offer you a relationship in a certain moment, it’s for a reason, the right type of love will come when you least expect it, and that is when you will understand why it only came at that time, and that it was for the best you didn’t have a relationship in the past, in don’t know if any of that made sense but i hope it helps !!
