@patricklee_msia: One of the best car air-fresheners in Malaysia (and much of Southeast Asia) is the pandan leaf. If you want to buy them, you can probably find a small stack of maybe 100g for very cheap (RM2 or so) at the market. If not, you can probably find them growing on the side of the road and take them for free. I grow them, so no problem there.
