@truckingwithcj: I’m a little ashamed to admit that I consciously avoid conversations around gender specific “issues” on my social platforms. In the early days I was trolled so badly purely for being a woman. I didn’t want to give anyone more amo to go at me for whinging. So I decided to let my work ethic and abilities speak for themselves. Now I realise I have the ability to raise positive awareness and by staying quiet is letting down the large community of women who struggle daily feeling incredibly alone. In an effort to do better I want to start speaking on these things and celebrating people who are trying to make positive steps in the right direction. Thankyou to the girls at @girlsonlycompany who recently reached out and discussed with me their new company. I instantly ordered one and now thanks to these girls feel brave enough to speak on it. Women are strong, they will get on with it without complaining but providing simple things like clean bathroom facilities go a long way. It’s the little 1% things that mean so much!
