My rule is nothing too expensive comes from Santa. We always get one “big” gift (mainly the most expensive one) and then a couple of things $20US under is from Santa. Growing up I’d get expensive stuff from Santa, and my friends would get hats and gloves cause their families didn’t have the means, and I would feel guilty regardless of being told it. Santa doesn’t do big gifts in our home because I was the child that didn’t get lavish from Santa and it hurt thinking I wasn’t as “good” as other kids ❤️I never want to cause that hurt to any child
