it's to stop parents getting away with fines for holidays... nothing more than they have seen a rise in home schooling so they can take kids on holidays when it suits ...it's about money again

I think home schooling parents should have to prove that they’re covering certain aspects of the curriculum or similar to prove that the children are getting an education but surely it’s a parents

I 100% agree with this. It's become a fad used by parents who can't be arsed with the school or school run etc and just say "I'm home schooling"
