@saveelephantfoundation: Vana, a young female elephant, is disabled in her left hind leg, and DaoThong has a disability in her right hind leg. Vana was rescued due to her disability and complications with her genitals that arose after being unable to give birth. To save her, surgery was necessary to remove her dead calf, but unfortunately, the wound couldn't be completely closed, requiring daily wound care. Her original owner could not provide the necessary care, leading to her rescue and transfer to SEF. Both Vana and DaoThong faced similar challenges, but today, they have become best friends, sharing joyful moments together. Despite their hardships, they have found happiness and companionship in each other's company.
