@dailymail: Wisconsin shooter Natalie Rupnow's father shared a chilling image of his daughter practicing at a shooting range. Jeff Rupnow posted the snap to his Facebook page in August. Natalie, 15, killed a substitute teacher and a teenage student and wounded six others with a 9mm pistol at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison on Monday morning. No motive has been given and police say they're working to verify whether a manifesto being shared online was written by Rupnow. Jeff Rupnow has two daughters and it is unclear which of them was snapped firing the gun - but he spoke proudly of the child's prowess with a weapon. Have you ever wondered where the best Swiss cheesemakers learn their skills? It all starts at the Institut agricole de Grangeneuve in Fribourg, where aspiring cheesemakers can apprentice and get certified to be cheesemakers. The Institut celebrates its 100th anniversary this year! My partner and I were honored to have been the first Americans to visit as guests of @Fromage Gruyère SA, and here are some of my favorite things that I learned during the tour: - Grangeneuve has one onsite farm and works with several others in nearby villages. All of the milk used is @legruyereaop quality and they pay a premium for the top quality milk. - the facility also houses a national institute for raw milk research, which studies raw milk cheese and cultures. Their focus is researching how treatment of the land affects the flavor of the milk. - students can also study other aspects of agriculture and farming onsite - there are about 1,200 students per year at the Institute, 250-300 of which are enrolled in the cheesemaker programs. - the cultures used to produce their Gruyère AOP and @vacherinfribourgeoisaop are produced onsite in their laboratory. - Grangeneuve was named after a building that was part of a local monastery - the institute took over the land from the monks and continued their research on cheesemaking, agriculture, and tending to the land. - aspiring cheesemakers can start their apprenticeship as young as 15 years old! - students are taught all methods of dairy production, from industrial to farmstead, and all styles of cheese, to ensure that they are well rounded and ready for any job when they leave and enter the job market. As always, I have many more notes and a lot more footage so if you want to know/see more, let me know! #cheese #cheesemonger #foryou #fyp #cheesetourism #switzerland #swisscheese #gruyere #vacherin #vacherinfribourgeois #fribourg #kase #fromage #svizzera #formaggio
