I super empathise; I did PPE at Oxford and I was *shocked* how mathematical the economics leg was. So little policy. So I went two legged PP for the remaining two years which was an easy change. But..

i had the same thing at LSE where i studied geography with economics - the econ parts were just maths and theory! i didn’t end up dropping the whole econ part but avoided those modules when poss!

To be fair a lot of Oxbridge degrees really gatekeep information on their website. I don’t think the research methods strand on my course was well explained at all. I had to change my research topic

Don’t worry abt it. I applied to UoB for Biology thinking I’d absolutely love it. I didn’t enjoy, even at the beginning and now I’m going Chemistry instead :D
