The original series was much more fun to play, the new combat is boring and weightless and I stopped playing ragnorok because of it and I do agree Atreus is a boring and annoying character I just get sleepy listening to his endless exposition

I stand by Atreus should have his own game. I feel like that's the journey they were on. Then kratos has his own game. Atreus game teaches him its OK to ask for help. Kratos game teaches him its OK to have hope. Then they do a game that brings them back together. Both games lead to game 3.

I don't hate the idea... but I think it makes more sense for it to be Kratos, Freya and Atreus... Kratos is Osiris Freya is Ibis Aureus is Horus... IDK tho, your story has merit.

Cory Balrof is the writer and director. he was inspired by his own dealings with fatherhood . I absolutely love how Kratos struggles with his role and overcoming his own hangups.

I love a good revenge story and violence, the original GoW was fun but thats it. I didn't really find it all that memorable but the new version is another level on top of that. They took what was a single note character and made him a believable person.
