Why would UPS care if what was in the package was destroyed or not? Maybe your husband received it destroyed and was returning it for a new one. How would they know and why would they care?

FedEx had issues with drivers stealing packages off the trucks. It could happen with UPS.

My mom was receiving her meds via UPS …. Very “strong” pain meds… she began getting empty boxes, complained, UPS denied wrong doing. Mom calls me - lets just say I have all evil from both sides….

I had this happen with something coming from Palmetto . Look up that and you will know. 2 didn’t arrive. Finally I told them to wrap the box so it wasn’t obvious and I got it.

I would assume since staccato sent a prepaid label they have insurance on the package through the shipper. They would have to file the claim though

My ex brother-in-law has worked for Amazon, FedEx, and USPS… they know which packages they can take without it being reported, and things get “Lost” all the time
