yup. I grew up with a single dad. I did made fun of for it in school. I was also a single mom to 2 little girls...I was judged everywhere. especially at their school. when people would say something

I’m a sole mum of two. My exs paid child support but it stops when the children reach 18 or the last day of school final year. So essentially unless they get welfare or a job immediately we are broke!

When the court finally caught up with him. The judge told me it was my job to make him be a parent. Gave him the time to speak in court, made me the bad guy.

True! Kids tease you for not having a dad and feel bad when you don’t have a mom. Dad is always the hero even if he’s the downfall of the family while present.

This is 100% true!! My kids teachers treated me so badly!! When I got with their stepdad you wouldn’t believe how nice they were and how quickly they flipped the switch with him!

Ex husband (abusive) walked out, I was treated negatively by school/friends/strangers, yet I was the one who stayed and did everything for the children. Truly people still look down on single mums, yet they are the ones fighting for their kids.
