@nahlasarraj: With the fall of the brutal Assad dictatorship that terrorized Syria for over 50 years, we as free Syrian women are unified in one message: none of us are free until all of us free. We can celebrate and rejoice a moment many of us never imagined happening within our lifetime. We can also hold many complex emotions including grief and worry. So many atrocities have been revealed from the torture in Syrian regime prisons, to the mass graves, and the horrifying corruption. There are so many unanswered questions for the loved ones of the hundreds of thousands forcibly disappeared that they search for until today. Syria needs healing. Syria needs rebuilding. We unify in our shared goal for a Syria that is safe for everyone. Centre Syrian voices. Listen to our stories. There is no room for atrocity denial or rewriting history. There is no room for dehumanization or dismal of the Syrian experience. What comes next is up to Syrians.@Celinekasem @Hudakawsara @Aya @Nour Kaiss
