is there a connection between mind and world/globe? i know in spanish that mundo means world and the proto germanic word seems to me like there could be a similarity between them.

Watching these vids makes me wonder if there’s any linguistic “red herrings” you’ve encountered where the ancestor word has a surprising or misleading descendant

I love how many sound changes that English has gone through is happening right now in my language (diphthongization, i-mutation, and [g] to [j] lenition), in fact, it's happening all across highland Sumatran Malayic languages right now 😲 just show you how every languages phonological evolution is "walking" on the same path

Fun fact: ármas means "weapons" in Spanish and tagalog(Filipino, Philippines). So the Spanish figured that word out by finding so many ores of iron and metal and sculpt it from the shape of our(LIMIT)
