The animation reminds me of like American modern anime like Castlevania or other Netflix anime. I’ve grown accustomed to them, but I get what ya mean. The characters can feel lifeless at times. :/

i thought that hera felt like a pretty dimensionless protagonist - i feel like i’ve seen that exact kind of female character in 20 other movies. enjoyed the story but i agree with u on the animation
