Riding when it’s cold and windy can be such a pain I totally get it, id suggest lunging her a bit before you start brushing and tacking up just to get some of that nervous energy out pt1

I saw a few videos back (I’m not a horse person but ended up on horsetok today) that they track their mares cycle and for one week they don’t even attempt to ride her.

Work her a little more before riding helps. Some times spend time grooming just for the shake of grooming. No end goal of riding. Build the relationship, stay safe, work and build her body & mind. 💗
