My idea may be wrong but I like the idea of renting til 35/45 and heavily investing. Then buying a home I want to live in and never move from. No point buying in my 20s to move

Renting is ok short term if say you are in a new relationship or not settled in a certain location. But long term if you are confident of staying put you mortgage makes the most financial sense
