@thismumcooks: If you want to be successful with saving money and reducing food waste you need to - seize any opportunities available to you to save money, whether that is yellow stickers or seasonal offers - know how the best way to store each food to maximise the life of the product - never buy something just because it is on offer, you have to need and want it. Potatoes are best store in cool and dark places, the temperature ideally between 5-8°c. Many people will have spaces such as larders, sheds, garages and porches. However, should we experience a drastic drop in temperatures protect the potatoes with some extra covering. Check on the bags weekly and remove any potatoes that may have started to rot. If you have space you can peel, slice, parboiled and freeze. This is perfect for days when you are short of tike to cook as well, as potatoes can be cooked straight from frozen. But do take advantage of these seasonal offers where you can to make January that bit easier for you. #food #thismumcooks #potatoes #savingmoney #moneysavingtips #seasonaloffers #storingfood #savingfood #christmas #january #2025 #newyear

U can’t store potatoes in a fridge, very dangerous mold occurs.keep them in a dry dark place.

most of the supermarkets have a limit on how many you can buy so would have to do this over a couple of days.

Potatoes shouldn’t be kept in the fridge. I read today that they grow a mold. Along with carrots and onions. Sorry
