Many of you have asked me about the cute buns I’ve shared on IGS last Sunday and they’re from @dough_magic_official, just outside People’s Park Chinatown. These cute buns/mantou are filled with different fillings and I got the Duck (Salted Egg Yolk) and Rabbit (Sweet Purple Potato). Too cute not to buy yo! Taste wise, alright lah nothing fantastic. Salted Egg Yolk feels like the powder kind, me not really likey but I guess some people will like the flavour. The rabbit one with sweet purple potato was better I feel. Bun is the mantou kind iykyk. They also have the savoury ones which I think is quite popular too! For the price I’m paying, I’m not complaining. Probably the best pizza in town @osteriamozzasingapore @hiltonsingaporeorchard 🍕😋 A refreshing welcome drink - Bellini Affogato was served before our starters; very apt for the humid weather today. Got their Prosciutto Wrapped Grissini Sticks and Roasted Chicken Salad to start before we dived in to their signature and highly-raved pizzas. A must to get their Fennel Sausage and Margherita Pizza (had them during my last visit too). Flavour and texture both on point. Chef @nancysilverton has developed a new dough recipe that gives the pizza crust an ultra-high airy and puffy cornicione with a deep sourdough flavour, complemented by a fine, crisp base. Delicious indeed! Ended the meal with Tin Roof Sundae (texture of the gelato is mad; so gooey and tasty) and Coconut Sorbet which stole my heart (literally can eat the whole bowl myself). [NEW SKATE CAFE HIDDEN WITHIN JURONG LAKE GARDENS WITH NO GST & SERVICE CHARGE] The Ride Side Skate Cafe @theridesideskatecafe opens at Jurong Lake Gardens today 🛹 - Not only can you buy your skating gears, you can also enjoy affordably-priced food from @theassemblyground ✌🏻 No GST & service charge too 👊🏻 Ordered their Buttermilk Chicken ($9.90) that comes with fries. Buttermilk chicken was a tad tough for me; would have also preferred it to be more seasoned. Cheese Fries ($6) came in a huge portion; very generous. Mocha was good! Y’all can come here to chill after taking a stroll/exercise at the park! Will come back to @theridesideskatecafe to buy a skate for skating too!
