@bruna.conce: ALSO It’s hard to ignore the apparent convenience in our government’s lack of understanding and effort to comprehend how this app operates, especially when its potential ban threatens a platform predominantly occupied and dominated by women. If you believe a TikTok ban has nothing to do with this, think again—TikTok is the first platform that has allowed women to earn at levels rarely seen in other industries, that are overwhelmingly male-dominated. #tiktokban #corruption #womenownedbusiness #womenhealth #attention
Anesthesia? First time hearing this option for IUD. The pain was uncomfortable but not that bad to get anesthesia to put it in. Im at year#9 with the cooper IUD

Wait, so if you have the Mirena like I do - there’s a chance you could still be good! I got mine put in 2018 and my OBGYN tells me that there’s been research done that the five year ones are good for

You wouldn’t be able to get it placed in your doctors office with anesthesia. It would need to be in a procedure suite & OBGYN only has clinic or OR time. Aka if you got anesthesia, it would require

Also, in Brazil you usually have the option of doing it with local anestesia at the clinic or even with general anaesthesia at a hospital if you prefer. No anaesthesia is crazy.

I had my procedure in Brazil, there was no anesthesia. I fainted because of the pain...my IUD expires in 3 years, I'm not replacing it without full anesthesia. I refuse to feel like that again.

i’m in central fl & i got it done under local anesthesia (cervical block), a pill that helped soften my cervix, and nitric oxide to help with the pain. some providers offer those as options for pain!

They say that when you take it out and put a new one right away doesn’t hurt as much. My doctor gave me local anesthesia and it was fine!

I used to work for an GYN doctor/nurses and the amount of times I’d hear the own nurses say how “dramatic the patient is” for saying how painful these procedures are is very alarming/heartbreaking:/
