The pushrod is made out of cheap material in hollow inside that’s why it failed😂😂😂😂😂😂

Did you say you don’t see many lifters break like that? Where do you get your information that is not a lifter?

It’s gonna more than likely need a lifter. The lifter collapsed and then all that play without tension on the pushrod made it get wedged and bent the pushrod.

what kind of damage was done to the hydraulic lifter underneath? same thing just happened to my 5.3 with a broken pushrod... did you find any metal in the oil?
