You’re doing it correct. So many mechanics think impact torque is always correct no matter the fastener. Poor practice.

I sold my Mac torque wrench I’m pretty sure you didn’t torque it right the Mac one is weird the light turns red when you hit the right torque it starts beeping & first green light comes on about 80%

I left walmart acc a few months ago and that's the process 2 torque then a figure 8 and then a 3rd torque by the original tech and have cust come back after 100 mile for another retorque.

Torque stick (spec minus 10ft/lbs then torque wrench. Modern impact wrench are too powerful to install wheel nuts, even if it is just one huggadugga.
