I have to disagree! we only buy what is necessary and pay EVERYTHING with credit card. getting $3,200 back this year with the customer card, and just used my capital 1 miles to cover over $2k.

What about the places that won't take cash and you have to use a credit card. Sports venues are doing this. I behave whether I am using cash or card.

If I only use cash then I’ll have to pay all my bills in person. That takes time and gas, which costs money. I can sit on my couch and pay my bills with plastic. It saves me money to use plastic.

I disagree with this. In an almost cashless society credit cards are key. Debit cards are what people should be rid of. They offer no protection, encourage you to spend by what’s in your account.

Getting free stuff and added protection on purchases via a credit card is great and totally fine if you are disciplined. Not sure why Dave won’t add that caveat?
