People are right about "ACOTAR is romantasy and TOG is fantasy". But also think of it as ACOTAR is an 8 episode miniseries and TOG is a multi-season series.

I DNFd TOG the first time around once I got to the split/tandem read … DO THE TANDEM. The way I cried the entire way through from that point….TOG is SUPERIOR fantasy and relationships.

First I think TOG is more fantasy heavy and not as romance heavy. Second you spend so much more time with TOG that you feel closer and see their growth.
