As a Special education teacher who works with a lot of kiddos who do this we would ask parents to put a wresting singlet on under clothes helps cut down on it a lot. Good luck!

Ik money might be tight but see if you can get dog covers for the couch. Usually they are water resistant and you can just wash them instead of having to strip the couch. Plus they come with grip

I feel you, I started putting him in onesies that I found in his size and it has helped a TON keeping his hands out of his pants when he has “accidents”

I've become very boring and withdrawn, never wanting to see friends, etc. And sometimes I have to remember "oh yeah, they all have time and energy because they aren't on year 3 of potty training"

Preminger with pronouns :
We cut the feet off of my sons onesies and put them on backwards, and only keep toys that can go through the washer in his room, nothing else. It helps a little

I babysat for a family in high school who dealt with this, and they had two waterproof couch covers that they changed to wash. They looked and felt just like a regular couch!

Get an IKEA couch and then buy a custom couch cover from Etsy!! You can switch the covers out

I had to start draping at least 3 blankets on my couch to help with the mess but still sometimes my son finds a way to get to the cushions 😑

Bigger onesie with shorts or pants under them! I have been there MANY times. Sometimes more clothes over that if it’s not hot (winter is perfect) I bought snaps and put them on all her regular clothes

I have to do this absolutely absurd routine of clothes to keep him out of his diaper 🤦🏼♀️I do a pair of leggings, a onesie that zips and buttons in the back, and then finally a backwards flannel.
