for you guys who don't know. bad parenting is based on a true story. it's based on the Gabriel Fernandez case, where his mom's new boyfriend (Mr red face or smth) who abuses Gabriel (the kid in the game). sadly at the age of 8 Gabriel was taken off life support because of the seriousness of Gabriel's injury's. his injury's conclude of third degree burns, lots of different types of brain damage and head trauma, and nobody else in the family knew that this was happening so they never stepped in to help. In the documentary there is plenty of his work from school praising his mom and saying how beautiful she was and the most recent one was 2 weeks before his death. hope this helps
