quinx are closer to ghouls than they are humans. They aren't humans inserted with a quinque but it is deliberately stated that they have a kakuho inside them and they posses kagunes

the quinks actually have the same surgery as kaneki did but they put frames around the implanted parts so they don't go full ghoul

yeah, no. its because of the extent, kaneki had more than just a kagune sac implanted where as all the rest just had a kagune sac and their bodies adapt - similar to what eto naturally has
