Let’s take it one step further and include car insurance companies. If you pay your premium for the year and do not have any claims within that year than the money that you paid should roll over to the following year. If they didn’t have to pay out then they haven’t lost any money, so why should you.

All insurance should do this at year end. if you didn't file a claim you get 90% of what you paid back. Car, health, homeowners

That’s why you need to pull your money out put it in a bank account, let it build and then pay your own bill. If the insurance turns you down you’re not getting anything anyway

That would be cheaper than paying coverage. The law should be that insurance pays or faces fines twice the amount of unpaid claim.

not just life saving, but ANY claim denial - you're paying for a service that they refuse to give you when you need it. theres no point in paying if there even a chance at a denial
