🌹:it's all time inversion bro, where objects or people can move backwards in time while the present is still happening this is possible with the turnstiles that have two sides the red for people in the present and the blue for inverted people (that could be you after using the blue side) that wear oxygen masks cause they can't breath the air in inverted time (which means if you use it, and don't have a mask with you, you die) thats how to spot an inverted person now they used this machine way in the future, which means they've been doing it over and over again, you actually get a clearer picture of the movie in the middle where they get to the warehouse Kat gets shot in, it's some Russian antagonist trying to help the agency he works for in the future to destroy the entropy of the world by doing away with the present, gathering algorithms that will eat the climate in the present ( remember the orange box they were fighting for, that's the last piece of the algorithm) The protagonist works for the agency (CIA) in the future trying to stop the Russian antagonists agency and the only way to get close to him was through kat (his wife) that brought about the airport scene(they went to steal a painting), remember they fought two men in gas masks (that was them trying to save Kat after she got shot in the warehouse) and they collided cause the only other turnstiles they could use was in the airport remember when the protagonist and Neil saw it when they went to steal the painting to get to kats husband( the Russian antagonist) and they fight two men in gas masks. Now the car scene you're talking about is important too, cause the protagonist gets inverted just so he could get and plant a bug on the orange box with the algorithm to know where it will be, remember in the beginning where they were fighting and the algorithm falls into another car( the inverted protagonist car) cause it was thrown by himself in the present while he was fighting the inverted Russian antagonist who went back in time to find the algorithm after the protagonist in present time threw it in the inverted protagonists car, after knowing where it was he told his team where it will be
