I recently enjoyed the @virginvoyages Greek Island Glow, a 7-day cruise beginning and & ending in Athens w/ stops in Santorini, Rhodes, Bodrum, & Mykonos.  Extra Virgin is an Italian restaurant located on Virgin Voyages cruises. It is an understated restaurant compared to its more adorned sister restaurants. Customer service was very good (shout outs to Pande), and the food and beverages arrived within a reasonable time for a cruise.   The No Confession Needed was the cocktail/mocktail highlight.  The 🍞 Service was tasty; we enjoyed the soft 🍞 w/ olive oil & balsamic vinegar.  The crispy artichoke was a table favorite.  It was pretty w/ 🍋 notes and an interesting caper sauce. We also enjoyed the fry & flavor of the Semolina Fried Calamari as well as its 🍋 & 🌶️ dip. But the most memorable appetizer were the Braised Mini Meatballs.  They were well seasoned w/ a rich 🍅 sauce & gooey mozzarella 🧀. The Ribollita was a solid & vegetable forward soup. The smoked 🐔 mousse was overpowered by the balsamic agrodolce. The beef carpaccio lacked 🧂 & flavor & the chanterelles and sunchokes did not help the dish.  The Affettati Misti was solid.  The 🍆 caponata was surprisingly good.  We enjoyed the sea bass w/ its crispy skin.  While the NY strip was solid, the farrow needed more 🧂  The potato gnocchi was solid but the Pappardelle Al Ragu & the Oxtail Agnolotti were table favorites & dishes we ordered again on our second visit.  The Olive Oil Cake was the better of the desserts.  While the cake was solid, the gelato lacked creaminess & flavor and the 🍑 es were forgettable.  While we enjoyed the tableside affogato service, the gelato was not particularly strong. We liked the whipped ricotta of the Castagnaccio, but wished it were more flavorful.
