You’re not executing the shoulder rotation. Take those thumbs and try and throw them, point first, over your shoulder on the middle pull, get the real value of the face pull.

This is inaccurate, u need scapular retraction, the first form variation is more shoulders, the second form variation focuses on back specifically lower traps (a very small + important muscle)
