This is a good thing . When I was pregnant they gave me the same tests and asked me the same . Not everyone is financially or emotionally able to care for a special-needs child or adult

My aunt had two kids with muscular dystrophy. After the first the doc said that it was less than 1% the second would have it. He did. She has stated many times she wishes she took that 1% seriously
