my favorite gift was a stuffed cow one of kids gave me. she didn't have the money to buy me anything and brought me a stuffy from her room. she told me his name was Badoodle. I still own him to this day!

This means a lot to me, as a kid I really struggled on giving gifts to teachers as I wanted to, but didn’t really know how to, and so I’d make them cards but I always felt bad I wasn’t a gift card kid

I can’t afford much in the way of teacher gifts but I chaperone every field trip I’m asked to, judge the science fair, attend every open house and conference. That’s how I show my appreciation

I loved notes from kids. I have been retired for 15 years and a still have a file of notes. If I’m feeling down I read the notes. They always make me smile.

I was class parent for years. and the teachers were so sweet to the children that couldn't or didn't bring gifts. they'd tell them that teaching them was the gift. so sweet

My kids know I love Reeses PB Cups. The amount of melted cups i got at Halloween was the best ever. I love when they make me cards or pictures. I display them forever.

My son gifted his third grade team teachers a bee hive donated to a village through Heifer International. Their class theme all year was bees. He is in college now. 🐝
