When I first started working out, this was one of the popular cues back in the day for dumbbell lateral raises. Thumbs down to align the side delts better with the line of resistance. However, there are better ways to align the side delts with gravity that doesn’t require you to be in this uncomfortable internally rotated shoulder position. The best way imo is to keep the shoulder neutral (so palms down at the top of the range of motion instead of thumbs down), and simply lean a bit forward. #fyp #Fitness #gym #bodybuilding
