As a tattoo artist I do the same thing when I make a mistake. Cut out a chunk of skin, put in a skin graft, let it heal, then fix the tattoo on top ✨

While travelling through Turkey I learned a heap about rug weaving and found out that hand woven rugs with imperfections within the pattern are actually more valuable than those with pristine execution because it means the rug was infact hand woven instead of machine made…have loved this perspective ever since 🤗
