@jackmartincolorist: This beautiful client traveled from Washington DC for a hair color transformation. Her hair had been colored red for many years. I gave her a layered bob cut, then used K18 Hair chelator to remove metals and minerals, and Joico color eraser to strip some of the dark color. Then K18 mist was applied to repair previously damaged hair and protect hair from next chemical service. I lightened her hair from her gray roots leaving her roots untouched by using Redken Flash Lift Power 9 with 20 vol for 2-1/2 hours, reapplying new mixture to warm areas as needed. After reaching a pale blonde, I pre-toned with Redken Shade EQ 10T and 10VV, and toned with Pulp Riot Hair silver speed toner and 6 vol. After shampooing, I used a K18 leave-in mask and K18 molecular repair hair oil. Client was advised to use the K18 mask for five consecutive shampoos, then twice a month.
